Dear Mr. DiGiacomo,

This email is in response to your letter to Tektronix of 01 May 2006.  My
apologies for the delay in responding, but I wanted to have something
positive to report..

The Tektronix Policy on Copying Out-of-date Materials (copy attached) has
finally been updated.  Sorry that it took so long.  The update was
accomplished as part of my recent revision of the overall Tektronix IP
Policy. 

Both the "Concept Series" books and the "Typical Oscilloscope Circuitry"
document are still covered by Tektronix' Copyrights.  However, the updated
version of the policy grants a license for the Concept Book Series and for
Catalogs that are 5 years old or older.  The "Typical Oscilloscope
Circuitry" document is not covered by this license.  Maybe next time.

This new policy will eventually be posted on the Tektronix Website, in due
course.  At any rate, this is the official approved version.
