ORIGINAL DOCUMENT NAME = MINI ALERT 411A

A long time problem on CRT devices, especially the units which have chassis that
swivel or tilt, has been that of the power cord coming loose from the plug-in
receptacle. Unless the customer is alert, this usually results in an unnecessary
service call.

An ECN has been announced with a simple preventive tie down, using a cable tie
and a stick-back mounting pad.

This will be implemented in the field only, on an "as-needed" basis, and will
not be billed.

Use YY006269, Cable Tie Mount, and YY005185, Cable Tie.  Stick the mount to a
convenient place on the chassis where the cord may be secured about 2-3" from
where it plugs into the machine.  Cleaning the surface area of the chassis with 
alcohol where the mount is to be attached will aid its adhesion.  Leave just
enough slack in the cord to relieve the strain at the connection yet still allow
the machine to be unplugged without a struggle.
