OVERVIEW: Visual Inspection| Check for excessive wear, corrosion, belt condition and tension, loose connections and parts, frayed/defective wiring and/or cables, switches/sensors. Cleaning| Exterior should be reasonably clean. Interior should be vacuumed and cleaned when necessary. DO NOT USE abrasive cleaners. DO NOT USE cleaning materials which contain Acetone, Toluene, Xylene or Benzene. These cleaners may cause equipment damage and costly repairs. When using alcohol, use an isopropyl alcohol of 91% or greater. Rubbing alcohol (70%) in NOT ACCEPTABLE. Lubrication| Recommended items should be lubricated as specified in the Service Manual. DO NOT OVER LUBRICATE. Corrective Action| Corrective measures (if needed) should consist of adjustment/replacement as prescribed in the Service Manual. Operation| Run exerciser/diagnostics to verify correct machine operation.. This will insure that a problem was not inadvertently put on the machine at the time of the PM. -- PM should be scheduled maintenance time. This allows the customer and MBF more efficient use of Resources and Personnel. -- Check with the customer on equipment performance.
