Novell NetWare workstation installation steps:

 A. Create IPX.COM

    1. Insert the NetWare SHGEN-1 diskette in drive A
    2. Access drive A:
    3. Type: SHGEN and answer questions

 B. Execute IPX.COM so the workstation can communicate on the network.


 C. Run NET3 (DOS 3.x), NET4 (DOS 4.x), NET5 (DOS 5.x), or NETX (DR DOS)

Novel Netware server installation steps:

 A. Insert the NetWare NETGEN diskette in drive A:

 B. Access drive A: and type NETGEN

 C. Select "Custom Configuration"

 D. Select "Hard Disk" and press <ESC>

    At the "Drive prompt, enter the appropriate drive letter

    Select the "Select Network Configuration" option

 E. From the "Available Options" menu choose "Select LAN Drivers" then
    choose "Load ans Select Item"

 F. From the "Available LAN Drivers" menu select "8003 Family LAN Adapters"

 G. Select "Configure Drivers/Resources" and choose the LAN configuration

    The "Unconfigured LAN Drivers" screen displays the driver you selected
    that has not yet been configured.

 H. Highlight "8003 Family LAN Adapters" and press <ENTER>

 I. For most applications, the fourth choice - First Software Configured
    Adapter, is recommended. This option picks up the information from the
    adapter. Highlight number 4, then press <ENTER>

 J. From the "Configure Drivers/Resources" submenu select "Enter Server
    Information". Type a valid network address and press <ESC> twice.

 K. At the "Available Options" menu select "Save Selections and Continue"
