* Go to single user
* Install Operating System tape
* Run "mbfinstall"
* Select TCP/IP package
* Enter public key (twice)
* Edit (vi) /etc/hosts file
- Change TCP/IP address from 00.0.0.1 to your IP number that matches your network setup
- Save and exit
* Reboot the system (init 6)
* Ping your own machine:  ping  127.0.0.1
- if it works setup is OK
* Ping another machine on your network to prove that the cable is ok
